What I do want in a future job:
- collaboration
- working amongst others
- build something wider than just myself
- do something for a grater cause
I like spending time developing projects alone but i couldn't do this all the time. I've found starting the tshirt business that I like working with others, bouncing ideas of them, getting exited together and also supporting eachother when things are hard - i think I would go crazy working alone.
I do like having a few things going on! I've learnt so many new skills in business and been forced to network- something I shy away from alone.
I've also really enjoyed teaching Zeb (partner) some creative skills - ie. how to make up instagram posts in photo shop etc., how to do mockups
Creating a piece of art isn't enough for me -i like the idea of working with others to create a whole structure behind it and doing something greater.
At the beginning of COP I asked the question is creating a piece of art enough to make a difference or does it need to be backed by a campaign, be produced in a way that supports the values that the art promotes etc. - I have found that the answer is no - for me creating piece of art isnt enough. And i have enjoyed trying to create a structure around my art supports what it says and tries to further its mission as much as making the art itself.
Weather th production of a product supports the values it advertises is something I have become really conscious of without intending to!
