Study Task 10
- Make info clear, concise, focused - make the point of each slide clear - link things but in a very clear way
- Be chatty - lose vocally and with movement rather than monotone
- Keep info on slides minimal - just what they need to clarify points
- Use power of three - group info in 3s - remembered better
- Make script as safety net but create mind palaces to remember info, try not to recite
- Don’t speak too quick, overload audience with info
- Look around audience to include everyone don’t stare at single point (usually do)
- If I expand on a point on a simple slide i.e with photo don’t leave photo up there put name - brings it back to me, not distracting

Study Task 8

Initially we struggled to bring our ideas together as a group because the brief was so broad and we definitely could have done with meeting more to solidify our concept earlier on. However, researching into recycling rates and the value action gap really helped to cement our group focus. Generally, we did well with splitting up the presentation workload. Me and Laura wrote the presentation and script, Lauren created the slide aesthetic and Camilla the logo but I did struggle with having little control over the campaigns aesthetic. Overall, I think that we were successful in creating a strong, realistic campaign idea and it is definitely something that we are considering actually doing next year.
